Downloads & release notes

The homepage always links the latest demo build. This page lists older demo installers (same demo limits) and per-version release notes.

In some cases, you need to manually delete the previous version from Applications first.
Normally, the installer should overwrite the old version, but apparently that does not always work.

LoopSeek macOS 1.1.0 Update
Release notes

Release Notes – macOS Version 1.1.0

New:

  • Added global volume slider to the app header
  • Added scaling option in Preferences (100% default / 125%)
  • "Extended Gap" switch behavior for multisampling large libraries or streaming sounds in VST/CLAP/AU plugins
  • Added computer keyboard note input support (ASDF layout, octave up/down (x/z))
  • Increased maximum short tail fade time up to 10 seconds

Fixes:

  • Fixed missing microphone/input permission handling in Hardware Mode for virtual audio drivers such as BlackHole and similar loopback setups

macOS treats virtual audio sources like BlackHole similar to a microphone, so microphone permission must be allowed.

On macOS, capturing system audio may also require System audio recording permission for LoopSeek:

    1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording
    2. Under System Audio Recording Only, click the “+” button
    3. Select LoopSeek.app from the Applications folder
    4. Click Open
    5. Enable the toggle next to LoopSeek
    6. Restart LoopSeek if required

If LoopSeek already appears in the list, only enabling the toggle is necessary.
